Alfa-Expert Research Center performs technical diagnostics and technical certification of buildings, structures and technical equipment used at hazardous production facilities.
Technical diagnostics implies assessment of the technical condition of the facility, identification of faults and analysis of their causes and forecast of technical condition.
Technical certification implies check of the technical condition of the facility and development of required documents to ensure its proper functioning.
Types of technical certification by frequency:
- Primary;
- Periodical;
- Long-term;
- Unscheduled.
The purpose of technical certification is assessment of the technical condition of the facility, possibility of safe operation and further maintenance.
Overall technical certification, normally including an extended list of inspections, and periodical technical certification is performed at hazardous production facilities.
The following hazardous production facilities are subject to technical certification: lifts, cranes, boilers, vessels, pipelines, tanks, buildings and structures (e.g. technical certification of foundations).
Upon expiry of the service life prescribed by technical regulations, all process systems and equipment must be certified in order to assess their condition and determine a new service life and operation conditions.
The technical equipment operated at hazardous production sites is certified by specialized companies accredited by the Federal Environmental, Engineering and Nuclear Supervision Service.
